Account Compromise / Cloud

As more business assets move to the cloud, attackers have followed close behind.

Cloud account compromise will give the attacker wide-ranging access to data, contacts, calendar entries, email and other system tools – and it’s no longer a rarity.

The 2021 Human Factor Report” from Proofpoint notes that credential theft accounts for about two-thirds of attacks.

If the attacker has access to your account, at the very least they have a starting point on their way to their objective.

Adopting your identity presents them with a world of opportunity.

Host Charles Commins is joined by Proofpoint’s Competitive Specialist, Sammi Davies to explore what we can do to combat this compromise in cloud based software.
